On Thursday, May 30th, 2013...
Wayne Moore will headline a dais of local industry professionals who will pay due and honorable respect to Robert (Bob) Hill.
This entire evening is in recognition of Bob’s outstanding support and active participation to improving the professionalism of the Life Safety Industry as well as contributing, in no small way, to its growth.
Bob will also be presented with the 2013 Service Award from AFAA National for his support in their efforts to influence and guide the codes and standards we all are living by.
So come and join us for this AFAA-NE Social Affairs Event.
Bring your favorite Bob Hill story and be ready to share it with the group. Enjoy a relaxing drink, a hot meal and good friends and honor and reminisce with Wayne, Bob and the rest of your peers.

From 1980 to 2009, the number of fire department emergency responses more than doubled, from 10.8 million to 26.5 million, primarily driven by the more than tripling of medical aid calls, from 5.0 million in 1980 to 17.1 million in 2009. Fire department budgets have not kept pace with this rising volume of workload, and particularly in recent years, there has been increased concern about the cost of unnecessary responses |

On Tuesday, May 7th, AFAA-NE said goodbye to a good friend and cherished member. Earl held several positions with AFAA-NE over the years and was always the first to volunteer for anything beneficial to the alarm industry. We send our deepest sympathies to Earl's family.Read the full obituary here:
