Pursuant to M.G.L. c. 141, §2 and c. 30A, §2, the Board of State Examiners of Electricians will hold a public hearing relative to proposed promulgation of amendments to the Board’s regulations at 237 CMR 12.00 to 14.00, and 16.00 to 21.00. By these amendments, the Board is proposing to remove redundant and outdated regulatory provisions, make it easier to obtain and retain licenses, as well as to provide new rules for businesses to reduce unnecessary burdens when changing personnel. A small business impact statement is on file with the Secretary of State’s Office regarding these changes. The hearing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 1000 Washington Street, 1st Floor, in Boston.
