A qualified workforce improves quality and safety (for the public and the workforce). This seminar will cover credential types, how they are used and the importance of continuing education. Also learn how industry participates in development of NICET certifications and the career track certification requirements. Plus, get an overview of NICET’s new customer portal that allows more capabilities and access for candidates and certificants.

Presented by: Chip Hollis

Mr. Hollis is responsible for internal and external communications, and communication systems. He promotes the value of NICET certification to technicians, employers, contract specifiers, AHJs and other stakeholders. He strives to create a customer friendly environment and improve processes while preserving the rigor and integrity of NICET certifications.

Prior to joining NICET in 2006, Mr. Hollis spent most of his career in marketing and communication in the association sector. Additionally, he spent three years performing financial analysis in the telecom industry. Mr. Hollis holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration: Marketing from California State University, Long Beach.
